CamFi Pro Plus Client User Guide

Installation

Windows

• 1. Download the CamFi Pro Plus Client via http://cam-fi.com/files/camfi_pro_plus_client.exe.
• 2. Run the setup file.

Mac

• 1. Download the CamFi Pro Plus Client via http://cam-fi.com/files/camfi_pro_plus_client.pkg.
• 2. Ctrl+click the pkg file, and select “Open.”
• It may popup a message box to notice the System Extension Blocked while installation. Please open System Preferences > Security & Privacy, click Allow to enable the driver.

Using CamFi Pro Plus Client and third party tethering software

• 1. Connect to the camera and the laptop with a USB cable, check if the camera drive is installed, check if the third party tethering software can work with the camera.
• 2. Connect the Wi-Fi signal of the CamFi Pro Plus, run CamFi Pro Plus client.
• 3. Please turn on the Third party tethering service.
• 4. Connect the camera to CamFi Pro Plus with a USB cable. Run the tethering software (Capture One, Lightroom, Canon EOS utility etc.)

• Note: Once the third party tethering service is ON, the camera cannot be detected by native CamFi app. You can turn it off by App Settings->Third party tethering service, and re-plug the USB cable if you'd like use native CamFi app.

Using native CamFi app

• 1. Connect the Wi-Fi signal of the CamFi Pro Plus, run CamFi Pro Plus client.
• 2. Please turn off the Third party tethering service in the Settings->Third party tethering service.
• 3. Re-plug the USB cable.
• 4. Run native CamFi app
